EPISODE 41: Jody Luke — Bringing Joy & Reconciliation in the Midst of Conflict

Jody Luke is the Executive Director of Love Does, an incredible organisation that has been fighting for human rights, caring for the vulnerable and providing education in conflict zones since 2002. I have known Jody for more than seven years now, but more recently I have had the joy of getting to know her more since she took on leadership of Love Does.

Jody is married with three kids, and is a former Certified Public Accountant who started her career with Price Waterhouse Coopers where she specialized in accounting and audits for Fortune 500 companies. Over the past 20 years she has guided many businesses and nonprofits in a leadership capacity, both as an officer and board member.

  • In this episode we talk about:

  • What it's like to work alongside the one and only Bob Goff

  • Travelling to serve in some of the most difficult places

  • Serving refugees and paroles from Ukraine & Afghanistan in her home town of San Diego

  • The secret power of being good at asking questions

  • How we can all make a difference through even the smallest acts You are guaranteed to be inspired by Jody, her curiosity, and her love of life and people.. I know I was.
